Debut author Mridula Koshy launched her collection of short stories, If It Is Sweet (Westland), on 20 May in New Delhi. Mridula was in conversation with noted author Rana Dasgupta and both spoke at length amidst a packed gathering of well over 200 guests which included names such as dancer Sharon Lowen, theatre personality Ghazala Amin, journalist and speaker Sunit Tandon, amongst others.
Mridula Koshy was born and raised in Delhi till she migrated to the US. There she worked as a union and community organiser. She currently lives in Delhi with her partner and children. Her short stories have appeared in publications in India and abroad. She is working on her first novel, set in Kerala, Delhi and other parts of the world. If It Is Sweet is her first book.
