Currently I am reading The Idea of India by Sunil Khilnani. I recently finished reading Is this Bottle Corked — The Secret Life Of Wine by Kathleen Burk and Michael Bywater.

This book is for an oenophile (wine lover) to understand what wine to drink with which dish, how to swirl, sniff, slosh and pronounce upon our wine.

I buy books ranging across genres. For instance — Lance Armstrong’s It's Not About The Bike Haruki Murakami’s Norwegian Wood and Tarun Tejpal’s The Story Of My Assassins

Yes my reading habits have changed over time. I now spend less time on current news and have gone back to reading the great classics of the last century.

One book you cherish that you received as a gift...and who gave it to you.
