Srishti Sofat, InfoSpace IndiaWhat are you reading at the moment? What did you recently finish reading? you learnt from it?
I just started reading The White Tiger by Arvind Adiga. The tale contrasts the realities of rural life with that of urban India through the eyes of the protagonist. We Are Like This Only by Bijapurkar Rama is another book I really enjoyed reading. It's a data and research driven book but gives a perspective on consumer India.

The one book all leaders must read...
Good To Great by Jim Collins. The book is a study of 28 corporations out of which 11 makes the leap from good to great. The book inspires to strive for the best... Good is the enemy of Great... is the opening chapter of the book!

One book everyone in your sector should pick up...
The Search by John Battelle

What kind of books would you normally buy while travelling?
Suspense books or a thriller. Books by Michael Connelly and John Grisham.

Have you written any books? If not, do you plan to write in future?

No.

The books you grew up with? What did you like most about it?

Growing up I read a lot of Nancy Drew solving mysteries, Agatha Christie and Jeffery Archer (As The Crow Flies, Kane and Abel, The Prodigal Daughter etc). These books gave me a sense of adventure and confidence. In some way they instilled a 'Can do' attitude.

The SearchYour book shelf consists of....
Some of my favourites from my shelf include, Rohinton Mistry's A Fine Balance, Family Matters; Khaled Hosseini's The Kite Runner and A Thousand Splendid Suns Barbarians At The Gate: The Fall of RJR Nabisco (Bryan Burrough and John Helyar.), etc.

Where do you shop for books?

Airports, local book shop and online...

Has your reading habit changed in the past four or five years? If so, how

I probably do not read as much as I used to. Being a working mom with a 4 year old, time is a key asset.

One book you cherish that you received as a gift...
Heidi by Johanna Spyri. It was the first novel I read.
